![]() ![]() You will probably have an assigned department, like Bedding or Furniture, and you'll be responsible to stock that area after you are done with the truck.įrom what I hear at my store, the downside of this position is that the inbound team has a certain amount of hours to unload the truck and they have a specific amount of hours to push all the freight for a specific department, which can be a challenge depending on the amount of merchandise you are getting that day. Like everyone said, it might vary from store to store, but in my store, the inbound team is responsible for unloading the truck and pushing freight for specific departments. ![]() Hopefully you have a good flow TL.that can make or break the experience. Flow team is looked down upon sometimes from the rest of the store, but there's definitely way worse spots to be in. You'll likely be register trained and from time to time might be asked to get on register for 5-10 min if their backed up. If you come in an hour or two after the unload starts then your main job will be just pushing product, backstocking, helping guests. If the flow team at your store isn't sweating then their not working fast enough. It'll be hot and you'll likely be sweating. Unloading boxes/pallets from the truck, sorting on the line and putting freight onto uboats/flats/pallets, then afterwards pushing product to the floor and stocking the shelves.Ĥam blows but it's not bad once you get there and you get out fairly early. Depending on when your store unloads the trucks, sounds like you'd be on the actual unload with going in at 4am. ![]()
